Budaya Buat Dulu Maaf Kemudian

I remember preparing a slide on attitude and how it is relevant with one’s mindset. The attitude will determine how exactly you approach your life i.e. the way we think will determine the way we do things. What you portray physically comes from how and what you fill in to your head. For example, if someone has written something bad about you, you can assume that he must have an ill feeling towards you. If someone is always late, you can assume that he is always late for most of the things in his life. Attitude is usually shaped by the culture surrounding them. So this triangle thing is very much related to one another – mindset, culture and attitude.

The slide that I’ve prepared shows these correlations. Further, a superior performance culture comes from the way we think, the way we view things, habit of thinking and feeling towards certain issues, moment of truth and people surrounding us. What you see as the behavior is what you are made of in term of your mindset i.e. beliefs and attitude as well as your philosophy i.e. values and principle.

P/s – I wonder whether the guru tuisyen’s mindset is a manifestation of culture that is surrounding him? Too bad then....

Isu karikatur: Guru tuisyen mohon maaf
Sinar Harian, 1 Ogos 2012

Which One‘s Which??

Not long ago, I wrote something about Namewee’s Nasi Lemak 2.0. I wrote about his easy access to see Pak Menteri Nazriwee and how he can get away in promoting his 1Malaysia, better Malaysian for future generation so-called movie. It was a so ‘patriotic’ movie that most ‘Australian born Malaysian and somehow most migrating Malaysian in other countries’ had a long queue waiting and wanting to buy the cinema tickets. Read here. The controversial movie was eventually released in Malaysia and nothing dreadful things happen. Namewee cool, Nazriwee pleased and other Malaysian also happy.

Recently, there was this yet-to-be-released movie entitled ‘Tanda Putera’ that sparked an issue which is quite similar with the Nasi Lemak. But this time, it was a Malaysian history movie spinning around on the tragedy of 13th May 1969 and is directed by a Malay (a talented Shumi Baba – remember Maya’s Pontianak?). Again, the local and the ‘Australian born Malaysian and somehow most migrating Malaysian in other countries’ made fuss on the illicit and explicit contents of the movie with intention to make it fail, big time. Words were going around and mStar reported on July 19 that the movie’s release would be delayed to an unspecified date. The genuine story of the tragedy was not truly reflected, they said?? Mmm.... reflected my ass!! It will only be reflected if the story of any story is directed and casted by the ‘Australian born Malaysian and somehow most migrating Malaysian in other countries’. After all, the movie has been 30% ‘discounted’ by Dato’ Rais sampai logo 55 tahun Merdeka pun dah tersilap tampal. You won’t see the whole story pun, jangan la risau. Takkan ada pekikan-pekikan ‘Malay Si, ‘lancau’ dsbgnya cos’ most of it has been censored. Then, why want to delay the release of this movie? Kenapa la nak jaga hati sangat the ‘Australian born Malaysian and somehow most migrating Malaysian in other countries’ tu? Bak kata Leman Raja Lawak... “tak paham aku??”

Release, release, release in full as what the majority wants it (rather than concentrating in Bishop Ng Moon Hin or Dong Zong minority’s demands). No more carrot and time to ply the stick.

P/s – Dunno which one is genuine now, but yang Hana Tajima's look-a-like tu so damn cute..

Bad Supervisors Criticize Others

Something that I've read lately and makes me wonder??

"When a supervisor is insecure, they tend to overcompensate by putting other people down, especially in public. They tend to talk down to people and make themselves appear more powerful. They find things to criticize about anyone who is getting positive attention. When they need to reprimand a subordinate, they will often do it in front of other subordinates because they think it make them more powerful. If only they know how horrible it makes them look!!

(Top 10 Signs of A Bad Supervisor, Dr Kimberley Alyn)

P/s - mudah-mudahan aku tidak seperti ini...

Khusus utk sahabat, Shamo yang tengah diujiNya. Moga cepat2 sembuh especially selepas mendengar lagu kegemaran ini...

Poor Baby Prasana

Indira gets custody of daughter from Muslim husband
Malaysian insider: By Clara Chooi

KUALA LUMPUR, March 11 — After a long drawn out and bitter battle in the courts, kindergarten teacher M. Indira Gandhi was finally granted custody of her 22-month-old daughter Prasana Diksa at the Ipoh High Court today. High Court Justice Wan Afrah Wan Ibrahim made the decision in chambers this morning and issued an order for Indira’s Muslim-convert husband to hand over Prasana immediately.

Indira’s lead counsel M. Kulasegaran told reporters outside the courtroom later that the judge had made the decision as it was in the family’s best interest for Prasana to return to her mother and be together with her other two siblings, Karan Dinish, 11, and Tevi Darsiny, 12.

[comment] I do not wish to undermine the Court Decision but… (I rest my case). If you are a Muslim as I am, you will understand how I feel right now. Poor Karan, Tevi & Prasana. I’m just hoping Allah will re-open their heart for Islam sometime, someday.

“Also, the judge said that Mohd Ridzuan does not even have a steady job,” he said.

[Comment] What kind of comment is this? Unemployed rate in Malaysia 50%?

Kulasegaran added he hoped Mohd Ridzuan would abide by the court’s order and return the child immediately. “The court has also allowed him visitation rights at once a week,” added Kulasegaran.

[Comment] One day learning about Islam Vs Six days practicing Hindus?

Prior to the decision, Kulasegaran said that the counsels from the Perak Religious Department had objected to Justice Wan Afrah presiding over the case as the matter should be referred to the Syariah Court.

“However, the court decided that it had the jurisdiction to hear the matter as Indira is a non Muslim. Furthermore, being a non-Muslim, Indira cannot go to the Syariah Court,” he said. Meanwhile, in a separate court, Indira’s application to seek leave for judicial review to quash the conversion of her three children to become Muslims was postponed to April 3.

[Comment] Justice Wan Afrah? Betul ke nama ni? Oh ya..Justice Civil Court. I'm sorry but I always associating Civil Court Justice with the Bar Council.

Indira has been embroiled in a fierce custody battle for her children with her husband since early last year. She has also been trying to ensure that her children, who were converted to Muslims without her knowledge by her husband, remained as Hindus.

[Comment] There you have it!!
